Orange-cheeked Waxbills recorded per party hr on the
Honolulu Christmas Count, 1944-2014 (see Count
Page). The bi-modal distribution during
1965-2005 primarily reflects population status at Diamond Head in 1965-1989
and windward O'ahu in 1986-2005, where the
population declined through the 2000s and was absent during 2007-2014. See
