Wandering Tattlers recorded per party hr on the Honolulu
Christmas Count, O'ahu,
1944-2014 (see Count
Page), showing a decline in numbers
from the 1940s to 1995, and then an increase through the early 20102. These
trends could be caused by a decrease and subsequent restoration in wetland
habitat around Honolulu and/or changes in populations of Wandering
Tattlers.
