The Fiji Terrestrial Arthropod Survey is a two-year survey of selected biodiverse arthropods occurring in the Fiji Islands. The project has 5 primary parts.
- surveys, which include various trapping methods;
- training of in-country personnel to assist with sorting and identification of selected arthropods;
- upgrading an insect facility in Suva to help create and maintain the Fiji National Insect Collection (FNIC) there through staffing, supplies, and voucher specimens;
- publication results of the project; and
- publication and online availability of a checklist and bibliography of Fijian Arthropods
