Family PARAXYMYIIDAE



Paraxymyiids are an extinct family of flies known from the Jurassic of central Asia and China. They are apparently related to Protopleciidae and Protobibionidae. Rohdendorf (1964) placed the family in the Bibionomorpha. Only two species in two genera are known.
