The 2004 Bishop Museum Conservation Internship, in partnership with Hāna Ranch, was hosted by the Hāna High and Elementary School and Kukulu Kumuhana. Bishop Museum Botany and Education staff traveled to Hāna, Maui, to train 14 high school students in the job skills associated with land and ocean conservation, and to inspire them to protect and restore their local environment.
