    The Conservation Interns travelled to Honolulu to interact and work with Bishop Museum staff for the fourth week of the internship program. In the Herbarium Pacificum, the interns learnt to database and georeference specimens and to mount herbarium specimens. They used the herbarium collections to research their propagated native plant species, taking many pictures of specimens. They also used many of the plant reference books available. They also used specimens within the collectionsOne morning was spent at the Waikiki Aquarium, learning of the importance of conservation in the coral reef ecosystem.
