Week 5
The fifth week of the program involved the clearing of the two restoration plots established by the interns on Hāna Ranch. They cleared the plots of invasive, non-native species, and outplanted Metrosideros native to the area. The final day of the week involved the clearing of anchialine ponds at Waikaloa Point free of false kamani seedlings.
