Lanai Conservation Internship, 2003 Lanai High School: Conservation education and the Science Garden |

A Science Garden on the grounds of the Lanai High
and Elementary School was designed by the students during the first
week of the internship, and the ground-breaking occurred during
the final week of the program. Lectures, class activities and glasshouse
work were all part of the Conservation Internship learning process.
